ACCOLADES AND REVIEWS
Sometimes it's important to stop and smell the roses, here is a few of our reviews and awards!
2023 HALLIDAY WINE COMPANION AWARDS
We released our first two wines in 2020 & submitted these wines to the 2023 James Halliday Wine Companion. We were chuffed when we got the call to inform us we were shortlisted for the "Best New Winery". A whirlwind experience with our first release, still on cloud nine!
2020 PINOT NOIR
"Take a bow young Ryan Horaczko – your first pinot under your own label and it’s a little beauty. Destemmed, wild fermentation, on skins 18 days and aged in used barriques for 15 months. Nothing complicated, just gentle winemaking with good fruit. Subtle aromas of cherries, wood spice, turmeric and fennel. The palate at ease with its mid weight, textural light tannins and bright acidity. A terrific drink-now option."

2020 SYRAH
"Fruit sourced from Quartz Hill vineyard, destemmed, wild-yeast fermented, on skins 2 weeks and matured in used barriques for 14 months. A vibrant dark red and full of dark plums, bay leaf, gun smoke and warm bitumen. It’s very savoury, which is pleasing. It's unencumbered by new oak and that suits the wine just fine, as there’s no shortage of fruit tannin, akin to persimmon."
