QUARTZ HILL VINEYARD, PYRENEES

Single vineyard, organically farmed site, handpicked, wild fermentation, on skins for 18 days, french oak maturation for 16 months.
 
This wine is made with minimal intervention, all movement of wine is slow and gentle using traditional wine making techniques.
 
Nuances of blackberry and fennel seed on the nose. The palate is medium weight with pronounced flavours of sichuan pepper and blueberries that makes for a long and elegant finish.
 
Grown on Dja Dja Wurrung country.
 
Our label was a collaboration with Mornington Peninsula based artist, Maloga Art
who was able to encapture our vision of producing wines with respect to the land. The art piece, Creation, was designed in respect of the Dja Dja Wurrung people, the traditional owners of the land around and near the Pyrenees in Victoria.
